Weekend Getaway
Fredricksburg, TX
We ate lunch at Farm Haus Bistro at the Fredericksburg Herb Farm. Two meals I was able to try were:
spinach and mushroom lasagna … $12 pasta layered with mushrooms, spinach and a pesto cream sauce, all complimented by our zesty tomato sauce
bacon wrapped meatloaf … $14 Coca-Cola chipotle tomato sauce, served with mashed potatoes and braised carrots.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Fredericksburg, TX hotel which is located in the heart of the city and offers easy access to many popular attractions. It was walking distance to the stores that we visited.
We went t0 several stores on Main Street.
We ate dinner at one of my favorite places to eat when we go to Fredricksburg, TX, der LindenBaun, Authentic German Cruisine. We had our desert at the best homemade ice cream shop, Clear River Pecan Backery. I had their Award winning Amaretto Peach & Pecan ice cream on a chocolate dipped cone, Yummy.
