I’ve had many opportunities in my life to do things that I wouldn’t have been able to do, if I hadn’t had a dream and the passion to try.  I’ve gone through some major changes in my life in the last few years, that has made me want to change the direction of my life.  I wasn’t sure what changes I needed to make and which direction I needed to head so I have struggled trying to figure it out.  The struggle has left me with many doubts and fears.  I have entertained many ideas but have been too afraid to act on them.  I have always thought that my life would make a good book.  I’ve had many events and relationships that would make a good story to read.  I spent time journaling but most of the time afraid to write all that I feel.  I have missed writing many moments that were fresh on my mind at the time because the truth of the events hurt emotionally.  I started writing in a journal to help me sort through my thoughts and feeling.  I have longed for my experiences to make a difference in someones else’s life so that they could learn and not make the same mistakes I’ve made.  I would want others to know if I could overcome obstacles in my life then so could they.  How do I put all this together and where do I start?   I had already thought of blogging but I didn’t know on what subject and I didn’t know how to start.  I started reading about writing.  I have gotten so many great ideas from what I was reading so I decided to act.  I decided to be a student of my many passions and blog about what I’m learning.  With the New Year around the corner, a time to evaluate my life and make new resolutions,  I chose to be a student of my passions so I can grow into the direction that I was meant to go.  I believe that as I learn the doubt, fear and questions of my directions will change to confidence and purpose.
